Renting with Lil' General Self Storage is 100% contactless and easy. You can browse available unit sizes and complete the entire rental process on our website from your computer or smartphone. Once you sign the digital lease and make your payment, you will receive your access code immediately.
How quickly can I move in?
Instantly! Since our system is automated, there is no waiting for an appointment or office hours. As soon as you complete your rental online, you can drive to 307 Montour Blvd and access your unit.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
Yes, tenants are responsible for providing their own lock to secure their individual unit door. We recommend using a high-quality disc lock or heavy-duty padlock for maximum security.
Are there long-term contracts?
No. We offer flexible month-to-month leases. We understand that your storage needs change, so you are never locked into a long-term commitment.
Billing & Payments
How do I pay my bill?
We make paying easy with our Online Bill Pay portal. You can log in to your account anytime to pay your monthly rent. We accept major credit cards and debit cards.
Can I set up automatic payments?
Yes! We highly recommend setting up Auto-Pay in your online account. This ensures your rent is paid on time every month automatically, so you never have to worry about late fees or losing access to your unit.
When is my rent due?
Rent is due on the anniversary date of your rental each month (or the 1st of the month, depending on lease terms). Please refer to your lease agreement for your specific due date.

What are your gate access hours?
We offer 24-hour access, 7 days a week. Whether you need to grab something early in the morning or late at night, your gate code will grant you access to the facility whenever you need it.
Is there anyone on-site to help me?
Lil' General Self Storage operates as an unmanned facility to provide you with lower rates and greater efficiency. However, you are never on your own! Our support team is available by phone 24/7 at (570) 550-6301 to assist with rentals, gate issues, or billing questions.
What if I forget my access code?
If you forget your code or are having trouble entering the gate, simply call our 24/7 support line at (570) 550-6301 and we will assist you immediately.
Security & Rules
Is my property safe?
We take security seriously. Our facility is equipped with 24-hour video surveillance, and the grounds are well-lit. We are under New Management that is dedicated to maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment for your belongings.
What items are prohibited in storage units?
For the safety of all tenants and the facility, you cannot store hazardous materials, flammable liquids (gasoline, paint, explosives), perishable food items, live animals, or illegal goods. If you are unsure about a specific item, please give us a call.
Does the facility offer insurance?
While we provide a secure facility, we do not insure your personal belongings. We recommend checking with your homeowners or renters insurance policy, as many cover items stored in self-storage units. We may also offer tenant protection plans during the checkout process.
